As a result, the traffic gets split among versions. You have to upload your code on Elastic Beanstalk, and it automatically allocates the required resources to your application. It handles capacity provisioning, load balancing, auto-scaling, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Elastic Beanstalk supports Java, .NET, PHP, Node.js, Python, Ruby, Go, and Docker. It\u00a0<\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">automatically assigns EC2 instances<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0to your applications and upscale or downscale them according to the load. It is similar to serverless computing, but it doesn\u2019t have\u00a0<\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">FaaS(Function as a Service)<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0capabilities like AWS Lambda.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Heroku\"><\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.heroku.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Heroku<\/span><\/a><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Heroku is one of the first PaaS in cloud computing. It supports Java, Node.js, Scala, Clojure, Python, Gradle, Ruby, PHP, and Go. In addition, it also supports custom runtimes that are called \u2018<\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">buildpacks<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u2018 in Heroku.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The virtual containers that host apps are called \u2018<\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Dynos<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u2018 in Heroku. It has tools for one-click provisioning and deployment of third-party components and libraries.
